Olde world pub in the village. Has a loyal local base of customers and others who just pop in now and again. Has a very good reputation for home cooked food and real deal bar meals. Keeps some good ales and has very friendly staff. Large car park to the rear. Well worth an early evening visit for a meal, best before seven!

I live in the village and have used this pub over the years and it has been OK.
Three of us went today and it was terrible waited over an hour for food and the place was not busy.
The staff don't seem to care. They delivered one drink less than I had ordered.
The table was unclean and it took them 30 minutes to clean it.
Others complained one group had their food delivered after a long wait but the staff had fogotten to set the table and they had no place mats nor cutlery.
The place look tired and even dirty these days.
I feel that I wasted £25 and will not visit again.
